Don King Presents: Prizefighter Wii version to make use of Wii Balance Board |
Ó
It seems like Wii Fit isn't the only game that will make use of the Wii Balance Board to keep gamers in shape. Aside from slugging it out with other boxers in the ring, Don King Presents: Prizefighter will allow players to train their titular athletes using the Wii accessory.
Matthew Seymour, Executive Producer of 2K Sports Europe mentioned that the game will make use of the Wii Balance Board to simulate the many training games which will help build up your in-game character. Exercises like jump rope training, push ups and other activities will be integrated using the accessory.
In addition, Seymour said that the game will actually be patterned on actual training regimens from professional boxing trainers. The routines and workouts which will make use of both the Balance Board and controls will take advantage of the body mass index (BMI) that Nintendo and Wii have in place.
Don King Presents: Prizefighter is set to be released this Spring for the Wii and DS, with the Xbox 360 version slated a June 10 release.
