disconnected gamers to be replaced by bots in Wii WiFi connection - Image 1If you normally play your favorite games well into the morning, then Super Smash Bros. Brawl may just be the game for you. Why? Because of the game's bot feature for multiplayer "With Anyone" games.

As Nintendo's latest offering for the Wii up for release in February, next year, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be playable online in both single and multiplayer modes. Here, gamers who get disconnected  for one reason or another or opts to momentarily log-out are conveniently replaced with "bots" - computer-controlled AI that takes the place of these players in order for the game to continue.

For gamers who might find this too creepy, take note that this feature only gets activated in the games "With Anyone," a multiplayer mode where gamers who haven't exchanged friend codes are matched anonymously with other online gamers. Here, the bots will seamlessly take the place of  "drop-outs" and shall continue to fight the good fight. If only the whole thing didn't sound so much like the movie Body Snatchers...

This is cool, this way when the whimps log off on purpose when they are losing, it will not completely kill the match.

I wonder how the game will let the player know that they are playing a bot due to disconnectivity ....Oh yeah the Body Snatchers movie that had Spock and Donald Sutherland in it was awesome...
