It certainly is better to have a bunch of options to choose from, as opposed to not having any at all. And that's why we're sharing this with you, Wii fans. So you wanna get a hold of them Wii Component Cables before the console's launch? Well, now you can! However, you won't find it at Nintendo, Circuit City, GameStop, or Best Buy Online stores. In fact, you won't even have to leave your home.

That's because all you'd have to do in able to secure one for yourself is to pick up the phone and dial 1-800-255-3700. Yup, while you sure won't get them online, you definitely may order them by phone. For how much? The cables themselves are for US$ 29.95. But don't forget the tax and shipping fees.

The Standard shipping will only cost you an additional US$ 5, although the downside is you might not be able to receive it by launch. If you want a faster shipping, US$ 7 is the price to pay for it to get to you in three to five business days. If that's still not fast enough for you, maybe two days will be, for US$ 13.

Nope, they are not going to be available at retail on launch day. The guy on the phone said they would be available from other retailers a few weeks after launch, but he didn't specify whether it was store-front or online retailers. Incidentally, as of 10 minutes after opening this morning, they are backordered until 11/25/2006. Any new orders will not arrive until after Thanksgiving (USA)

No just for the people who have the HDTV. even so they still come with a composite cable so you can still play it. It'll just look crappy for the people with HDTVS

I've been playing my Wii for 2 days now with the composite cables and it looks just fine. Component is a must have once they come out en mass, but you will still greatly enjoy the Wii with the cables it comes with in the meantime.
