Konami has finally given Dewy's Adventure a Japanese release date. This new Wii title from the minds behind the critically-acclaimed Elebits will be hitting Japanese retail outlets on July 26.

Dewy's Adventure is the story of a little drop of water that could. In the game, players take control of Dewy, a water droplet who must find a way to save his Elder Tree who has fallen ill at the hands of the evil Don Hedron. Players will use the Wii remote to navigate by tilting it to position Dewy in the right spots for some puzzle-solving action.

Dewy can also change the temperature of his immediate surroundings. He can turn into ice or mist, for example. Players can also cause earthquakes and lightning bolts by shaking and waving the Wiimote in certain situations. For more cute blob action, check out this trailer.
