Devil Kings 2: Heroes Gaiden is rearing up for a winter release in Japan. Will it ever make it to American or European shores though? As of the end of last month, we're still not too sure of its future. Maybe with enough demand from the fans though, some people could start petitioning for it? To hype up that demand (or at least hoping to), we've got the Japanese trailer for Capcom's game below.

Hack and slash, samurai hordes from ancient Japan, historical warlords, and, ooh, the magic of it all. Those who've played the PS2 installments of the franchise might recognize some stuff in the vid. Here's to seeing something that we could potentially be missing out on for the rest of our lives:

» Hm...

Is it OK that that actually looks kind of fun? Too bad I'd never pay $50 for that... Or much else... Hurry up Sadness!

» Discrimination... I guess

The original game (Sengoku Basara 2) Was released quite a while back ya know... But never the less, it is one of the best Hack and Slash games to date. I can't touch Dynasty Warriors anymore just because its not as fun. I never liked the American release "Devil Kings" because they changed the names of every person D:. You know, each person in these games (except for about 5 of them) are ACTUAL Japanese legends.

Its insulting that Date Masamune would be renamed to Azure Dragon or w.e BS they slapped on him to cover that this game loosely on ACTUAL JAPANESE HISTORY. Oh, except theres not GIANT ENEMY CRABS in this one.
