Detective ConanAnd guess what? If Pheonix Wright for the DS got you psyched with your investigative skills, there's going to be more than just touchpad-blowing-to-get-fingerprints in the future. It's just been announced in Japan that local hit anime Detective Conan (titled "Case Closed" in the US) is heading for the Wii.

Those familiar with the TV show and are fans of it (myself included) might already be thinking of all those various uses for the Wiimote in this game. If Pheonix Wright can do touchpad-blowing, then the Wiimote possibilities of a Case Closed game on the Wii are endless.

Sadly, there doesn't seem any info about a release date for North America; much less any details whether they're bringing it over at all. That doesn't stop us from hoping though! We'll bring you guys more updates as soon as the case file opens up some more!

To answer that

Not really,it was ok for a change but i dont want a Genre of Detectives.I know that the rip off of famous titles is common in the Gaming scene but c'mon one GTA franchise is enought,One Pheonix Righ Franchise is enought. Well it seems the wii is resurrecting famous anime into games(Not good games but Ok ones.). I have never seen the series but General knowledge sez is ok.

Detective Conan is Old

Do you realize that Detective Conan just celebrated its 10th anniversary this year? It's had a wide plethora of games as well for many systems. If anything, Phoenix Wright is a copy of Detective Conan. Honestly though, the series are really different, Conan just finds clues and catches the bad guys, theres never any courtroom action unless someone happens to get killed in one.

Oh man

I LOVED this show! Too bad Adult Swim stopped showing it and I can't find the early eps on any bittorrent sites. I really, really want to finish this series.

Good Luck

I know it sucked when they stopped showing it because I enjoyed the english version as well as the original jap one. The show is well into it's 400's episode wise and only about half are actually subbed and well at that. I've personally seen up to ep 106 and all 10 movies and this is one of, if not, my favorite anime of all time.

The story of the new Wii Game

I just found the story of the game... http://geocities.com/miyanosama/blog.html?p=25 An amusement establishment (Mirapolis) towering on an artificial island. That establishment which is called “Amusement Land” has a gaming hall, lodging facility, attractions similar to the ones in amusement parks, and illusion show. After unexpected turn of events, Conan and others were invited to participate in the pre-opening event of it. After the showy ceremony, a case comes to light....
