Defective Wii becomes effective shuriken thrower

The world is divided among the Haves and the Have-nots. But we're not talking about the material sense here. We're talking about luck. Chance has something to do with it too, and when you're dealing with a defective Wii, that's just plain bad luck.

We've got a sob story in Wii-landia today. DOTQWERTY218 bought a console last November 19, and based on what she said, after more than 24 hours of usage, her console started to have hitches. While some people might be having problems with some network connections, this one's a bit more hardware-related. Slide in, spit out, click in, check out:

Were you able to notice that clicking sound when she put the disc in? I'm no Wii surgeon, but that definitely doesn't sound healthy. Well, for what it's worth, (hey, we're all Nintendo family here anyways) I think she needs a big hug! And if we look on the bright side, if she's harassed by Wiimote mutilators, she could slip in some shurikens and let her ninja-Wii defend her.

That must hurt... A new Wii, broken within a matter of hours. I know I'd be devastated.

There's no proof it's a Wii disc being put in. Fake until proven real.

Two years ago I bought a PSP and I had to face and accept the nintendo-fans laughs about the disc spitting thingie.

Same happened to the Wii. Half baked console launched early with a lot of design flaws. Sincerely, I didn't expect something like this from Nintendo since they always had their own rythm.

Divine justice.

Nintendo said they'd replace these things, so it doesn't really matter. All PSPs still come with the flaw, though.

this is 1 person having this error(Expect alot of wannabes now trying to get 15min of news fame now) the psp had a widespread common issue that as of today still is in new models. u cant compare the 2 nintnedo has still had the console with the least about of issues compared to sony and ms. i still find it odd how she has to shake it everytime it ejects.

No, it doesn't matter what way the Wii disc goes in. It should still go in anyways.

That's a shame. I love the noise the disc makes when it hits the ground though.

Hey thanks for the article. One correction though I'm not a girl. lol I think the misunderstandin g was that my youtube account had the wrong name on there as nicole but I changed it to the correct name now. anyways I contacted Nintendo and they said I will get a new one within 4 days.
