Def Leppard - Image 1If you don't know Def Leppard, you have to bust your rockstar chops. One of the top-selling rock bands of the 1980s, Def Leppard has just confirmed that they will appear in Guitar Hero IV .

Is that really Guitar Hero IV? Let's get it straight from Def Leppard lead guitarist Phil Collen:  "We do! It's on Guitar Hero IV. We just had to clear a few things like publishing, record company, and all that stuff. But we're going to have, like, three songs, I think, on Guitar Hero IV."

Those three songs would be Photograph, Animal, and Rock of Ages. But is Guitar Hero IV already in the works? Since the songs are a bundle of three, it could be possible that this is just a DLC for Activision's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii).

If you could remember too, we've also reported that Aerosmith will feature their favorite artists for the newest spin-off Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii) It seems a more logical choice for Def Leppard to appear here since both bands peaked at around the same time. Whatever the case may be, QJ.NET will update you of the latest developments.

» Its only a matter of time until they have classic rap stations on the radio.

Heck, they play Nirvana on one of the classic rock stations in L.A.
