Dead Space: Extraction teased to be a Wiixclusive only for 'right now' |
Ó
For the longest time, Dead Space: Extraction has been known to be exclusive for the Wii. That is now about to change, so it seems, as Electronic Arts teased at the Comic-Con that it is Wiixclusive "right now." Steve Papoutsis gave out this tease at their "Art of Making a Horror Video Game" panel, further noting that an iPhone version is not completely scratched off the equation, describing it as "pretty cool."
Papoutsis played the coy type, however, and refused to divulge any further details on his telling statements. "Right now" is a heavy temporal stress, however, so it wouldn't be surprising at all if some time in the future, Dead Space: Extraction is announced for another platform. As to whether that "some time in the future" is for sooner or later, we don't know.
But how about you? Would you like to see Extraction on the iPhone? Personally, I don't find it hard to imagine on the mobile.

Bring it to the PSP!
Since it sounds like EA is losing publishing rights to Activision for future Deadspace games, its not hard to imagine that they might actually develop this title for 360 and PS3. They apparently still have the rights to the first game and Extraction, so we may see it on more than the iPhone.
