DDR Hottest Party scan reveals Wii Dance Pad peripheral |
Ó
But what's this? Is this confirmation or just a prototype of a possible Dance Pad?
From Japanese magazine Famitsu, a new scan has waltzed into the dancefloor: a two-page spread showing not just screens, but also a pic of the Dance Pad. Now if you can read hiragana - yes, kkid (Unregistered) and nohbody (Unregistered), as well as katakana or kanji - maybe you can answer our previous question: is this the real thing or just a prototype? But despite this, you'll still be able to play the game by using the Wiimote alone, as French site source Nintendo Master states.
Regardless, other tidbits included in the scan are the multiplayer features (no, not online multiplayer, sorry). The game will allow four players to step up on the Wii stage at the same time, and have both versus and co-op modes available.

Blue text to the right of the pad image translates as "The special controller also makes an appearance" I believe it's referring to the fact that these are (I think so anyways) the first screen shots of the game, and we're also getting an image of the dancing mat. I couldn't translate the majority of the article since the image is just too small and I have a lot of issues reading small kanji. Also, if anyone is interested, the big blue text at the beginning of the article says "Have fun dancing with your whole body by using the remote and nunchuck!!"
Hmm... interesting, I never saw a dancing game before that used both the feet and the hands. Sounds hard. :x Thanks for the translation.
sorry, error on my translation of the text at the top of the article. What it really says (not that much of a change) is "Let's have fun dancing with our whole bodies by using the remote and nunchuck!!"
