PowerSaves 512MB for Wii from Datel - Image 1UK-based peripheral manufacturer Datel released back in December a 1GB Max Memory SD card for the Wii. In terms of capacity, Max Memory is not really that exceptional but it comes with these "PowerSaves" that allows players to have certain cheats like infinite lives and infinite health among others.

Well, just so you know, Datel just released a similar memory SD card over at online site Code Junkies. To be quite frank, we're not entirely sure about all the ways this new card differs from the one released last year.

The two are mostly the same. The new card is smaller in capacity with just 512MB. Also, PowerSaves 512MB comes with media management solution MAX Media Manager Pro for Wii PC application. We guess all of you are already familiar with this one - it's that application that allows you to transfer MP3 files to your card and to rip music.

MAX Media Manager Pro also has the ability to convert and condense video footage. If you're interested, the Read link below will take you to Code Junkies' product page for PowerSaves 512MB. They are selling it for US$ 24.99.

This is crap

I have a 4GB HD-SD card at home in my wii and it works exceedingly well. I have no real use for that much memory in the system but it works in the Wii. Not all devices are HD-SD card compatible, so it was good to know. This cards seems about right price-wise for an SD card but I'm not sure of the value of the software. Maybe sell the software alone?

WTF!?!?!?!?!

This is nothing more then a rip off. Power saves are retarded. Action Replay - for those that need a little help from time to time and those that like to alter thier games.....and cheat. Power Saves - For those that want to cheat from the very begining. Datel is just trying to get some sucker sales out of this until they release the real product, Action Replay.
