D2pro firmware update:v1.3 for 15/19-wire chip, v1.0 for 9-wire chip - Image 1The d2pro dev team has announced that it has released a new firmware build for its 9-wire and 15/19-wire builds.

Here's the changelog for the 9-wire chip's firmware, version 1.0:
  • Fixed a bug that caused the drive to sometimes reset on eject, making it difficult to eject discs
  • Fixed a comp ability issue in the update software that with d2pro's with the a3p125 chipset
For the guys using d2pro's older 15/19-wire chip, here's your changelog for firmware version 1.3:
  • Fixed a media detection bug that caused certain pressed discs not to load properly
  • Fixed a bug that caused the drive to sometimes reset on eject, making it difficult to eject discs
The downloads for each new version is available over at the official d2pro site, via the source link below. Just make sure to pick up the file that corresponds to your PC's OS (Windows XP, MAC OS X, Linux). Be sure to view the file bundle's readme for proper installation instructions as well.
