D2CKey modchip site - Image 1

A few days ago, it's been reported that the Wii console's D2C chipset had been hacked, and that a modchip was expected to be in production soon after. Readers who've been keeping tack of this news will be happy to know that the D2C modchip's site is now open for viewing, and that the chip's been officially named the D2CKey.

The site doesn't appear to have any working links at the moment - the dev team probably set it up just to prepare for the chip's upcoming launch. The site contains some basic details regarding the D2CKey, along with an invitation to the site's newsletter in case the visitors would like to keep updated. The D2CKey site is available via the read link - we'll let you know if anything new turns up regarding this chip, or if Nintendo finds another way  to render their console unmoddable.
