Crystal Defenders now at your sevice on WiiWare

It was mid-January this year when Square Enix announced that Crystal Defenders will be making its way across all consoles' online content providers. Now, they've come out with another press release, this time to announce that it's all ready to serve for the Wii.

Crystal Defenders R1 is now available for download at Nintendo's WiiWare service. Meanwhile, the other announced title, Crystal Defenders R2, has yet to receive a final launch date. This will be announced at a later time, said the press release.

In case you need some refresher on these games, R1 brings you to another magic-filled land, where heroes are called upon to protect the powerful crystals from an evil presence.

This would make a better DSiware title. Not to mention it would put a REAL GAME on the DSi store.
