Something has occurred in the teaser site for Kojima Productions' next project. Unfortunately, it's not the grand reveal yet.
A timer has started counting down on the site, and the occasional flashes of lighting reveal what could either be a "5" or an "S". If it's indeed a "5", then could we be looking at MGS 5? The site's keywords imply as much. If it's an "S", is it a new Snatcher title?
We'll know in four days' time. Incidentally, May 22 is a rather significant date in recent tornado occurrences. It's also Pac-Man's 29th anniversary. Hmm.

anyways, maybe he might take an approach to something like heavy rain....the mood in the picture seems pretty fit.....
idk, too early to say, but if something of the like happens...i called it!
There's a dark human-like figure standing in the trees to the far left?. My opinion is if this is a MGS5 game, the only human like figure we know that can stand in a tree like that is either Vamp or Raiden, and we all know Vamp is out of the question if you played MGS4 so that leaves Raiden. Maybe there might be a Raiden MGS Game. Also i spotted the figure by using my ps3 browser so i can zoom and study the teaser site and i stumbled upon the figure in the far left of the site where the trees are.
S or 5... either will be Epic, so long as Hideo Kojima is involved, if its not MGS5 lets see what else Mr Kojima can do

I'm using the ps3 browser and was looking for what you mentioned, I didn't find it but I found something better, if you look in the trees slightly to the right of all the way to the left you can see a big face and it sort of looks like old snake, I'm not kidding I see old snake face in the trees' am I crazy or does anyone else see it
If it is an S, it could also mean the re-release of MGS4, like Substance and Subsistence.

Maybe If it is a re-release of sort that starts with an S then the lighting theme could mean Raiden... but I dunno what that backdrop has to do with MGS4

Yeah it looks like it's Metal Gear Solid 5!
thats what some other guy said last time -_-, but I dunno, doesn't really look Metal Geary to me
but meta tags are used for search engine purposes. naturally, konami and kojima would want to include keywords like MGS and such to indicate that this "next" game is from the same person. whether havign these keywords indicates direct relevance to MGS is rather tenuous at this point in time. just wanted to point that out.
This has to have something to do with Raiden, i mean Raiden = thunder/lightning. I've got my money on DLC for MGS4, which will carry some little add-on name that starts with an "S," mayhaps "Substitution"? And it doesn't seem that farfetched to have some new levels take place in areas depicted in the image, we don't know what raiden was doing before he jumped into MGS4 :-D

maybe another Silent Hill game? i dunno never actually finished a single silent hill game, although i did enjoy the film ^_^
there are some really weird images blended in those trees over yonder
cool lighting theme. could be about raiden. i doubt it will be a game that heavily involves snake . didn't hideo said that he want to do something other than MGS? i mean, this man should put some time on other titles like ZOE and the sorts. oh yeah, since this game could be about raiden, shouldn't the title be Metal Gear Lighting or whatever, since the Solid in MGS usually refers to Solid Snake.
I don't see the little hidden pictures others seem to be seeing but I think it might pertain to the next game in some way. Maybe a trailer or something. If they do decide to go on to MGS5 and not a spin off starring Raiden then it'd be nice to see them move from Old Snake's story to something new entirely. We'll see in due time obviously but speculation sommetimes helps the days go by.

Look closely at that area circled in yellow. Go on your PS3 then the teaser site and zoom in that exact spot. You should now see the human-like figure i spoke of in my earlier comment.
well that 5 OR S can also be a two if u flip it upside down. Now ask your self this question, Why did the launch date of the announcement got delayed to the 22, nd 5-22-09?

Look closely!
I went on it today. and I noticed a few things
1) Its darker and rainier
2) The countdown has been reset, its not set to about 8 days
3) No longer just has the 5 or S (whatever it is) instead it goes through different letters;
It's hard to make out what the backwards 9 and 5 is, but I subbed in P and S for them and this is what it says
"ESPESEPSEE"
Weird huh?
