Lavander is the new... pink? - Image 1

Okay. It's one of those times when, once again, the accuracy of the information that's posted on retailers' product pages could either be dead on or dead wrong. As was found on Costco's website, it appears that they're selling copies of that quirky little Wii game, WarioWare Smooth Moves. That alone has nothing wrong with it, but what everyone is curious about is why in the world is the cover of the game purple? (Okay. Fine. It's lavender.)

By now, we're all familiar with the fact that the U.S. version of the game comes with a pink cover. The PAL version, on the other hand, is yellow. We've never heard of a purple one, though, and we can't say that it's also for another territory as the purple anomaly bears the ESRB seal.

Anyway, we're taking a stab at several possible answers here. Either this is an upcoming or existing version which we're not quite sure we've ever heard about, or it could be one of those misprints that, like old stamps and bills, end up being rare and valuable in the end... or somebody in the Costco offices needs to have his or her monitor's color settings calibrated.
