We've stumbled across a library of Wii pictures taken at what seems to be some sort of demonstration event. The pictures, some taken at weird angles, show off all the details of the Wii. Included in the images are close-ups of the Wii itself, the WiiMote together with nunchuck and its classic controller additions, and also the sensory bar. Check them out...

What is it? It looks like N64's memory slot.

@4 it is two GC memory card slots

@3 yes, wavebird can

Wii looks freakin' sweet. The sensor bar is tiny; it's like nothing (only hope they offer it in wireless).

Wii is having tons of pics posted lately. In contrast, PS3 has nothing but the standard media shots over and over. Any reason there is so little visual PS3 exposure?

Notice on the "secret flap" for the memory cards that it has "sync" at the top of it? Hmmm...

Actually, Wavebirds won't be able to fit in these ports. The "door" revealing the 4 ports is in the way. Also, the Wavebird reciever is curved inward in order to fit the convex front of the GameCube.

Rumor has it you'll be able to use your Wavebirds without the reciever with the Wii, but this is pure speculation.

thats mainly to do with sonys way of releasing a product. when they launched ps1 and ps2, very little was seen apart from the same selected images over and over again. however, TDC is coming up very soon, and if anything like before the launch of ps1 and ps2, this is where sony will (hopefully) showcase the ps3 to a bigger extent than at this years E3. TDC is the main show for sony.

I got a sneaking feeling that, although nintendo wont be attending this year again, they will steal the show again, by announcing both release date AND price before sony and M$ can showcase there stuff.
