Paramedics without brakes in Emergency Mayhem - Image 1Have you ever felt like your life consists only of putting out fires one after another? Imagine if someone were to take that premise and place it in a more fun context. That's precisely the idea behind Codemasters' Emergency Mayhem, which is coming to the Nintendo Wii during the second quarter of next year.

Players assume the roles of police, firefighters and paramedics in Codemasters' Emergency Mayhem as they rush from one emergency to the next in the aptly named Crisis City. Emergency Mayhem gameplay basically consists of driving sequences combined with arcade-type mini-games, both of which must be completed within a time limit.

To add a touch of humor to the urgency of Emergency Mayhem, Codemasters has added a touch of humor to the mini-games, such as hurling bananas at frenzied monkeys or herding penguins to safety, both via the motion sensing capabilities of the Wiimote.

It looks like a Crazy Taxi with minigames.

Good observation. The variety of mini games may just keep things fresh throughout the game. :)
