CoD 3: For the love of the game |
Ó
This was supposed to be quick one. No quotes like "a picture paints as thousand words" or anything like that. But more than just simply amazing, the picture above is quite intriguing. There's really no telling the lengths fans are willing to go to for their beloved games. Call of Duty 3 (X360, PS3, Wii), as we have just seen, is no exception.
CoD 3 has always been pitted against Epic Games' Gears of War. Maybe it's because the two are from the same genre. Or maybe the rivalry sprouted from the engines the two games have? In all fairness to Activision, their title came out first. If our memory serves us right, the first title of the series came out during the later period of 2003. GoW, on the other hand, has only been around for weeks.
Also, we would like to see how far GoW would go. It was mentioned a couple of weeks ago, by no less than Mark Rein himself, that they are willing to make sequels as long as fans want it. On the other hand, there has been hushed talks circulating about CoD 4 even this early.
Oh well, we reckon that this is just a friendly competition. We wonder if GoW fans have some mice stories or pictures to show like the ones above. These are, after all, for the love of the game.

ive got a metal gear solid 3 one, the fox, you know the one.
i can understand if it was actually an epic game like zelda or halo or mario or shiz like that but not Call of Duty so congrats to you guys, who have tatoos that cost around $300 and are not even badass looking
Wow...Call of Duty 3, though a great game, does not deserve tattooing. Metal Gear like the first guy stated, yeah thats a classic, its worthy, Hell I would get a Solid Snake tattoo but I dont think that would be my game. For me it would have to be either Cyrax from Mortal Kombat or Samanosuke Akechi from Oniumusha, those are some of my classics right there.
Do you people ever get laid????? Have fun trying to get a job or a girl with that s.h.i.t!!!!!!! Lame and GAY!!!
I got a huge tattoo of Luigi from mario bros. on my back!!! He's hopping over a warp pipe!!! I never get laid anymore though....
you mean you actually got laid ;)
This guy is going to look at his arm in fifty years and think...What a Tit I am !
I'm not opposed to game tattoos... a Halo, Zelda, Metal Gear, or whatever other GOOD games are out there are certainly deserving of tattoos if you swing that way. But Call of Duty 3? That game's a bit of a suckfest, if you ask me. Call of Duty 2 was leaps and bounds better, 3 is totally noobified and run n' gun. Worst purchase I've made all year.
I'm sorry, but COD2 is way better than COD3.
