Clear some space: SSBB requires 128 save blocks - Image 1While it's excruciating having to wait another month until we get our copy of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it does leave us with plenty of time to prepare. In this case, that might mean clearing up some space on your console's save data.

Guys who've managed to pick up Dairantou Smash Brothers X (Japan's title for SSBB) report that the game will require a hefty 128 blocks to save. By comparison, the console's Internet Channel uses 228 blocks, and the Minna no Nintendo channel uses up 80 blocks.

We imagine SSBB's larger-than-usual save reqs has something to do with its growing cast of playable characters and other game-related addons. As a reminder, Super Smash Bros. Brawl  will be hitting North America by March 9, so our readers may want to save some space on their Wii for it.

128 blocks? Huh?

Ok, now how much is 128 blocks in real world units? You know, good old bytes... Standard units are there for a reason, unless you are American of course...
