Classic Controllers to work with Wii Virtual Console? |
Listed in: Wii Tags: Virtual Console, Wiimote
Ó
GamersReports is saying that the Norwegian site Dagbladet has some interesting information regarding controllers other than the Wiimote for the Wii. Apparently, Nintendo revealed a variety of controllers, including ones for systems like Turbo Grafix 16, Sega Genesis, and the NES, that are supposedly compatible with the Wii's Virtual Console. It would be great if we could all enjoy classic games with their respective classic consoles, but until Nintendo officially announces anything we'll have to leave this in the rumor department for the time being.Via GamersReports

Nintendo or a third party hardware dev should release a series of cheap adapters that would connect to the GC ports and allow you to use your old controllers.
