Heads up Chocobo lovers! We have here some new magazine scans for the upcoming Wii video game Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time. Square Enix has announced that the title will be available in Japan this coming December 13.

While expected, a formal announcement regarding an international release has yet to be made. Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon allows players to control Cid aside from the mythical golden bird. The story takes place in the City of Forgotten Time where its inhabitants are having some problems remembering their past.

Your objective as a player, needless to say, is to help the people remember. The game will feature two kinds of randomly generated dungeons. The first one is similar to classic dungeons with boss fights in the end.

The other type, on the other hand, requires players to retrieve lost memories of the people of the city. It was reported that the game will rely heavily on the Wiimote/Nunchuk combination.
