Nintendo Wii China - Image 1Nintendo fans based in China will be getting quite a few treats by next year. According to GameFront.de, the Wii will make a debut in China at the end of 2008. It was also announced that Nintendo will also be making a new website dedicated to that specific market.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced that they plan on selling the console next year. However, he didn't give a specific time frame on when we can expect to see it. If this new information proves to be accurate, then China based gamers may have to wait a bit before they get the Wii.

The date it will be released came as a bit of a surprise considering that most of the Wiis are manufactured in China. In addition to this, everyone knows the country has proven to be a very lucrative market since the game industry rose by a whopping 68% last year.
