Capcom has got some huge plans for Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii. Knowing how high the expectations are on this franchise considering its highly successful PlayStation past, they are compelled to give nothing but the best show on the Wii.

Franchise producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed, "We tried for the highest graphical quality [with Monster Hunter Tri] on the Wii, and I think we achieved it." No offense to Wii-hards there, but we all know that ain't gonna be much compared to its PS versions.

Still, maybe it'll turn out to be a pleasant surprise.

Monster Hunter Tri will be coming this Spring.

Well, compared to the PSP and PS2 version of the game, it will look better by a bit.

Now, compared to a speculative PS3 version, of course it would look worse. The Wii is the graphically weakest of the bunch.

The trailer wasn't from the final product. The japanese get a closed beta of MHF360 this spring, then we'll see what it looks like. Also, if you'd just check a video of MHFO running on a good pc you'd see what it can look like in it's current state. Besides, it's never been about the graphics in a MH game anyway, the gameplay is what matters.

So far they used a completely different engine on Monster Hunter tri the graphics looks amazing! i actually played the game myself.

Frontier used the old engine same as the ps2 (i could be wrong) the graphics are similar between the ps2 and po however the high resolution on frontier will make the game look slightly better (less pixelated) but it doesn't even look close to the Monter Hunter Tri!

Xbox 360 may have graphical advantages but Frontier will be a straight port from the PC version so far we all seen from the 1st trailer as you can clearly see it ain't MH tri.

MH Frontier on the PC looks better than MH3, MH3 looks better than the PS2 MH, not by leaps and bounds though.

Been playing MH3 since it came out in Japan, but since I can't play it online it's not as much fun as it was on PS2.

I wish they had put it all the gear from MH on PS2 instead of scrapping most of them and added mostly new stuff.

I miss doing Fatalis online, that and Shao Lung were the best online experiences I ever had with ANY game.

I Really think that capcom have ruined the Monster Hunter Franchise Now. For years it has been published on PlayStation. Now, With this change of console, it might bring up future problems and monster hunter fans may not be able to appreciate the true meaning of the game.

they couldve just made everything 10x easier for everyone and threw it on the ps3..... might take longer but i think its worth the wait. i wonder what asshole suggested that they should go on the wii platform...
