Capcom reveals lifetime video game sales numbers |

Capcom has released some interesting sales figures of its best selling games and franchises over the past 22 years. At the top of the list in franchise sales is Resident Evil with a whopping 34.5 million games sold. This is followed by Mega Man which weighed in at 28 million, while Street Fighter came in at third with 25 million games sold.If that wasn't surprising enough, Their best selling game was Street Fighter II for the SNES which garnered 6,300,000 sales since it came out back in June 1992. This was followed by Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation which sold 4,960,000 copies and Street Fighter II Turbo for the SNES which clocked in at a respectable 4,100,000.
