Capcom reiterates "No plans for Okami on Wii" statement |
Ó
Recent rumors have hinted towards a possible Wii appearance for Okami, but Capcom representatives continue to spout the same "There are currently no plans to bring Okami to Wii" line. With Clover Studios closing next month, we're inclined to believe that line, although we still hope we're proven wrong.Just to make sure that nothing changed in the past few hours, CVG has recently contacted Capcom UK in hopes of shedding more light on the issue. Sadly, all they got for their trouble was the same official "There are currently no plans to bring Okami to Wii" line. CVG's Mike Jackson remains fiercely optimistic though, as are quite a number of Okami fans around the world.

Recent posts to qj just spout fanboy-ism. This is two stories about a non-issue: Okami is not coming to Wii. Stop it.
Okami was such a unique game, the look, the play.. All of it worthy of being released on Nintendo's uniquest console: the Wii. I loved Okami, and would most definately get it again for the Wii.
I do mourn for Clover, too. Best of wishes to them all.
