Street Fighter IV - Image 1Looking for some insider news that talks about exclusives for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360? We spotted something that might tickle your imagination. It's been reported that Lost Planet: Colonies and Black Cloud from Capcom are set for next-generation consoles, though they won't be in both platforms.

NeoGAF member CubeRevolution posted retailer listings from Capcom and it was revealed that Lost Planet: Colonies will ship exclusively for the Sony PS3 while new title Black Cloud goes only for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Anticipated brawler Street Fighter IV goes out for both platforms.

The poster also mentioned two titles for the Wii that sent our eyebrows into orbit: Mega Man Scramble Battle, and Zack and Wiki 2.

Also present in the list is comeback kid Bionic Commando (PC, Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360). The original Bionic Commando is a cherished classic from the NES days and is set for a huge return next year. Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360), of course, is still on the block to keep us all drooling. We'll keep you updated on this topic as more news comes out.

so stupid

1st, they go exclusive for some time with M$ for lost planet, and now they pop the 2nd on ps3 exclusive, this is non sense. I mean, it would upset me if I had an x360!!! This is imbecile... And now the new franchise pop on x360? How can this be. They should have reversed this (not that I don't want lost planet 2), I mean, the x360 owners that have lost planet 1 could be able to play the second. Still, they shouls simply stop making exclusives! that's useless.

actually

I don't think it's a sequel, just the ps3's name.

Agreed....

You're right on all points. Lately it seems that Capcom's business decisions have gone DIRECTLY against the wishes of thier consumers. Which Capcom seems to be less and less concerned about as of late.

exactly

It's no way to build a fan base at all! If you learn to love a series on a particular system, bets are that you won't be buying a different system because the company decides that it's now exclusive to that other system. It would be like square going: "Ok, FFXIII is PS3 exclusive, FFXIV is 360 exclusive and FFXV is Wii exclusive. The only way to expereince FF for the next 10 years is to own all three systems!! :S"

?

Lost Planet Colonies is already available for pre order on 360 at play.com so who can say whether this is true or not?

exclusives blow

I wish they would quit doing exclusives at all. Just give both systems the game and let us all enjoy them. Who cares if the ps3 of 360 gets them. Why do people not want the other system to get exclusives?

Okay

That's fine cuz I really wasn't impressed with Lost Planet's single player at all. In fact it was horrible. Mp was sorta fun. ... Black Cloud? How bout a Dead Rising sequel instead
