Capcom acquires multi-platform rights for MotoGP videogames - Image 1Got a really good adrenaline rush from playing Capcom's MotoGP games? If you did, then we suggest to prepare as there's more from where it came from. Capcom has just acquired rights to bring this particular gaming franchise to different platforms.

This particular deal will be running for five years and will take over the existing rights that Capcom obtained last year for the release of MotoGP 07 for the PS3. The platforms covered in the deal include Sony's PlayStation3, Microsoft's Xbox 360, Nintendo's Wii, the PC, and mobile phones.

With this accomplishment, more and more people will be able to experience the high of playing the racing games under this franchise. Aside from this, players are treated to products of top motorcycle manufacturers such as
Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati, Kawasaki, KTM, and Aprilia.

Regarding this recent success, Mark Beaumont,
head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe, said:

We are very excited to have signed this long term agreement with Dorna Sports, which for the first time grants one publisher worldwide multi-platform rights to the adrenaline fueled world of MotoGP.


We feel this move to a single publisher will greatly benefit our ability to develop titles that deliver more authenticity and excitement to the consumer
