Canada just joined the growing list of territories to have gotten their Nintendo Wii. And while the queue of people is comparable to the number of people who lined up for a PS3, this time around, it was done in a more orderly and rather festive manner. Also, it was reported that a good number of people were surprised as they have previously expected a low demand."Everybody in the line-up had a fantastic time. Everybody had so much fun. Honestly, the entire night had been an incredible experience for many of us," declared one high school fan. Accordingly, the system sold out prior to the opening of the stores in the morning. The Wii plus the Wii Sports bundle was sold for CAN $ 279.99, just around 30 dollars more than the suggested retail price in the Americas.
Certain rumors circulated a few weeks back that most people here were to auction their newly-purchased Nintendo console after getting it. "WeÂ’ve been asking people as they come up if theyÂ’re keeping it, and only a very, very small percentage of people have said theyÂ’re eBaying it. Almost everyone is keeping it. ItÂ’s quite a difference," explained the high school student.
