But of course it is. After all, it's not entirely impossible that people will be camping out this early outside a retail store to be the first in line for their favored consoles. After all, they've waited so long for it, and if you really wanna pursue something, you gotta get your ass moving for it, right? Or something like that. Anyway, you just have to give these guys credit. Obviously, it's freezing cold. You could even hear the rustle of the wind against the video camera's microphone. That's a whole lot of dedication right there.
Anyway, forcing the gears of our heads to get moving so we could come up with a logical explanation, we realized that it's not for the launch per se, but for the pre-orders that Toys 'R' Us are holding tomorrow. That's a relief. So am not really so lost in space right there.
Anyway, just to set the record straight, just in case any of you is experiencing some time-warp (like this writer here), the PS3 comes out both in North America and Canada on November 17th, while the Wii comes out in the U. S. two days later, November 19th. And yeah, there's still a couple of days left before October ends.

that's really, really silly. camp out for a preorder, that's no smart at all. i guess they don't have anything better to do with their time. camp out, ha!
Don't these people go to school, or have jobs or something?!?! Seriously, this is just sad. The launch is still the better part of a month away.

To tell you the truth , this brings back some good memories of waiting outside in the cold canadian weather to wait for the PS 2 . Arrived there at midnight and i was thinking that i would probably be there alone ... i was 48th in line lol , but i was lucky enough to get one ! Not this time around ... ill wait until next year for PS 3 , i cant imagine staying outside for over 12 hours on the 16th of november to find myself losing my fingers from the cold : then the store opens and they have 4 !
Yeah and ferraries suck because they're too expensive , that makes sence
this is pathetic. bunch of loosers. i'll never camp out for a console. the launch tittles aren't worth the hassle. get a life or a girlfriend...
Preorders have no guarantee. The PS3s have not arrived yet and they are doing this. Thats insane. Usually preorders don't guarantee anything, just that if you preorder one, then you will get one if you come in and if they are available. Even if you are the first to preorder and you don't come in before they are gone, they may not hold it for you just to get another sell they will give it to someone else. I have seen it before.
i was one of the people who camped outside of toys r us, not in this video, but i did, they had 18 wii's and 8 PS3's, i was 1st for a wii, i got there at 6PM the day before to find 8 people in front of me for PS3's, i waited the 16+ hours in the cold and wind(i live in new england, it's cold as sh*t) but i got my piece of paper saying i'm gaurenteed a wii and Red Steel on launch.
now you can play mario bros. too. haha. just kidding. the wii looks like fun. innovative. i might buy it later. to play metroid and the spongebob game. still , WHY? camp out?

why would you wait outside when u can preorder it online???
I think that's a little off topic, but I agree - The PS3 is gonna be awful.
