Call of Juarez - Billy

Here we have a new character for the PC title Call of Juarez, this time called Billy. Now you may be wondering why we are featuring a PC title on this blog but if you would have had your eyes peeled back in July you will know that Call of Juarez is coming to next generation console(s). We just don't know which one yet.

In case you haven't heard, Techland's Call Of Juarez is a shooter set in the old Wild West. Giving players the ability to immerse themselves in the authentic, vast landscapes of South Texas in 1883, the game revolves around the fate of Billy Candle. Now Billy isn't your average character, and I'm sure there are some people who look like that down your local pub, but lets not go there. Here's some information on Billy:

Weary with parental quarrels, in particular with his step-father, Billy sets out on a journey across the United States in the hope that Lady Luck will smile upon him one day and give him the chance to show his true worth. After two years roaming the land, he decides to return to the family ranch. However, his big homecoming quickly turns into a real nightmare.

In the game, while he is comfortable with using firearms, Billy prefers to wield his whip to hit, knock out or disarm adversaries. He can also use it to climb surfaces or grab objects out of reach. His agility and dexterity with whip in hand will help the player escape from all manner of scrapes without using firearms. Call of Juarez also offers several pure infiltration game sequences.

Now we'd be scared of anybody who is 'comfortable using firearms' so watch out. At least Billy likes to 'disarm adversaries', although we're pretty sure that with this guy coming towards them most people would automatically disarm. Expect Call of Juarez hit a next-generation console by 2007.

Uh. Is it just me or does he look like a fashion model? LOL

» I would have to agree with you Max F.

I can imagine other in-game characters refering to him as "slick" or "babyface".
