Call for Heroes - early snapshot - Image 1The Official Nintendo Magazine (ONM) website has just announced that the Wii console will be receiving a new game in October, named Call For Heroes. This title is reported to be an action/RPG, and appears to be a traditional Save-the-world-from-a-malevolent-demon medieval adventure, with players being able to choose between a male or female hero/heroine.

Each character will be able to field their own selection of weapons, items and special abilities - A trailer shows the male lead being able to zap enemies with  electricity, while the female lead is apparently capable of smiting said enemies with flaming rocks (i.e. meteors).

That's all the details we have at this point, although we'd like to note that a similar title - Pompolic: Call for Heroes - is also being readied for the PC by developer Quotix Software. Cool - another action-oriented game to make full use of the Wiimote's motion sensing capability.

» I checked the trailer, and it's UGLY

It's looking like a VERY old game... really bad... it's loking like the controls of oblivion ( wich I hate ) and poor graphics. I only hope that they will upgrade it A LOT till it's finished, and I also hope that at least it will be better on the wii that it's looking for the pc...
