Bully 2 is coming to town - but to which consoles? |
Listed in: Wii, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 Tags: Michael Pachter, PS2, UK
Ó
Analyst Michael Pachter has today said that a sequel to the highly successful Bully (also known as Canis Canem Edit in the UK) is very likely. The games analyst, whose job is to predict market trends, told Game Politics, "I thought it would be stupid, and it was fun; I thought it would get poor reviews, and it got solid 90s; and I thought it would bomb, while it now appears to be a million unit seller."
The game's really fun, with many features that make it distinctively Rockstar - minigames, races, and a fighting technique all similar to that of the Grand Theft Auto titles.
Of course, you may be thinking why we're posting this news here when Bully was a PS2 game. Yes it was, but if a second Bully title is in the pipeline then you can bet your life savings that it would be a next generation title. It may be coming to the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, or possibly the PSP.
A portable Bully game would certainly cause friction in the playground and give another reason for the re-emergence of the videogame violence debate. We don't like to speculate too much. After all, this is an analysts view and is in no way confirmed; but after such a successful PS2/Xbox debut it makes sense for a sequel to be made. What do you think?

expect xbox360 support to be discontinued when microsoft releases xbox3.
NOTE:
Nintendo still supports gba and gamecube, even now!
Sony still supports ps2 and will for 2 more years.

Anyway, I can't see what all the fuzz is about with Bully. It got a TEEN rating ffs, and you're not the one bullying others. Now why would people insist of this being a monstrous game? Video game violence is not an argument in this discussion, because the whole anti-Bully campaign was punctured when the rating came out, even more when the game was released and everyone actually playing the game saw it wasn't bad at all.

Dustball/squirrel: "It's like bullying, that you can take outside!" LOL
Sony should try to keep this an PS exclusive. Give R* what they want, money, jewels, women, WHAT EVER!

I'm not saying Bully 2 won't happen, but this is truly a no-story story!

Its also called the PS2 still sells well so it is still supported.
The 360 sells well and because of its considered well priced for a next gen console so most xbox1 owners now own a 360 which they can play most of their old xbox games on to.

A- Will Bully 2 come out on Xbox 360, if not Rockstar will you please, please, please put it also on Xbox 360, if you could it will be so awesome, psp is cool and all, but we're not all millonares you know, we can't all afford the newest game on the market, i'm more of an Xbox 360 and ps2 man myself, so please consider this, because i'm sooo stoked there's a sequel, and i'm a huuuge fan of Bully, so this is the most anticipated sequel of the summer by far! and B- when will it officially come out?
