DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 goes GOLD

While everyone thought that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 would be released on November 22, Atari has just announced that their game has reached gold status and is now ready for a mass market invasion of North America. Currently, the game is now bumped up to being a launch title and will be available on November 19.

Spanning 25 games since May 2002, the DBZ series now introduces this new game on a new platform. It promises to be "the most complete DBZ experience to date." Hey, what with 120 playable characters straight from the said anime fandom, all the 3D flying that can last you 27-billion and one lifetimes, and all the animated transformations, transmutations, and transma-whatevers that you have ever encountered... how could one argue?

Trying to un-hype a game such as this seems like a nigh impossible task. Especially if you've got a rampaging super-sayan breathing behind your back.

Swizzneat!

I really want this game. After playing Shin Budokai on PSP and enjoying what it had, I still felt empty seeing so many characters I want to play as not being available. Hopefully on this version we'll be able to play as more females (Like Lunch, Pan, Videl and that girl from Bojack's team). But I also want a full range of forms. Shin Budokai never let Trunks go past level 1, not even to his buffed up form. I really also want to be able to play as some people from the movies like the legendary hero--Tapion, Goku's father--Bardock and Goku's brother--Turless. Heck, why not go all out and throw Hildegarn in there while you're at it?

You'd rather have ANOTHER Madden?

At least it has more players and moves than any other game with different controls. Unlike sports games that have the exact same moves with updated graphics. And what do you mean 'two-person'? Besides Smash Bros and Power Stone I can't think of any 3+ fighting games.
