Viennese company Bplus has announced that they will be among the first to roll out original titles to be released for the Nintendo Wii video game console's new download system.

The company's first WiiWare offering will be Plattchen - twist 'n' paint.

Plattchen - twist 'n' paint is a puzzle shooter game designed specifically for use with the Wii and its motion-sensing controller. Bplus is currently developing the game with the support of the Austria-exclusive GameClub test team.

As explained by Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, the WiiWare service aims to give independent developers armed with small budgets and big ideas a chance to release their creations out into the video game market. WiiWare is expected to launch early next year.

WiiWare is like the best opportunity to make games. Either way this will benefit Nintendo, whether it is not very popular or it is. If it is, then new ideas, such as new concepts, will emerge and we will see many original Wii games... or I could be taking this too seriously.
