I assume Nintendo couldn't get us Mike Tyson's version of Punch out?

Why should I buy them ? They can be playable perfectly on emulators. IDIOT NINTENDO. There are many emulators available out there so no thanks. I am not buying old classics at all. I will use the emulators. BYE!

Yes, why should I pay to legally use a game, when I can steal it and illegally play it? Sheesh, stupid Nintendo, thinking people like the legality of it.

Wrong!

Send Nintendo an email and ask them if they are fine with all their games for download here. They are not.

Forums and sites claiming you can legally have a ROM if you got the original are lying, you can not.

Forums and sites claiming you can DL a game you don't own, but gotta delete it with in 24 hours, they are lying too, you can't.

They just made that up back in 97 or something, when ROMsites got off the ground, just to try and make it look more legal.

There's no such things as a legal ROM, unless the copyright owners says they have become freeware. Until then, the game is copyright protected for 75 years and thus illegal. Seeing as how all Nintendo games are ESA protected, none of them is legal, and they never will be, until Nintendo says they are.

I rest my case, duh!

# Public DomainGuest 2007-04-16 15:10
Nothing created in any of our lifetimes will ever enter public domain given the current laws, unless its rightful owner expresses it. Rom sites put those disclaimers up in a futile attempt to cover themselves. I purchased the original NES copy of Zelda when it came out back in the 80s, I bought the GBA re-release, and I bought it on Virtual Console. If Nintendo's lawyers found me downloading Zelda off a rom site or a torrent... guess what?

If you guessed I'd still be in legal trouble, even though I could present no less than two physical copies that were legally bought and paid for, you're completely correct.

These games are not expensive. Nintendo makes quality games, and their classic games have more replay value than many games Ive seen on the M$Xbox or the $ony Play$tation. They deserve your financial support, or they're going to go the way of Sega, or worse... the way of SNK.

let's get back to the real point of this...We get it, alright?

Now, here's my question...how is Punch Out controlled on the VC? I assume you have to play it like if you didn't have the PowerGlove (with just the NES pad)? No chance of Wii remote punching, eh?
