Bleach Wii: New Scans |
Listed in: Wii Tags: Anime, Bleach, Nintendo Power
Ó

These scans come from Japanese magazine Nintendo Power, which run a preview of Bleach for the Wii in their latest issue. Unfortunately, those of us who are not proficient in the Japanese language only can look at the pretty pictures, and if you ask me, they're really pretty. It's almost like looking at a comic book, and something different than all the games aiming for as much realism as possible.
If you're not familiar with Bleach, it's originally an anime that has been adapted into numerous video games, mostly on the Nintendo DS. The story deals with Kurosaki Ichigo, who, together with a Deah Goddess called Rukia, goes on a mission to find Hollows (Ghosts) and cleanse them of evil. What Bleach Wii will make of the story remains to be seen.

I suggest you go watch Bleach or another anime before complaining. Here's a screenshot of Abarai Renji with Zabimaru in Bankai form:

For those who are Bleach illiterate, that means "Here's a picture of the dude with red hair with his sword in the second form"
That's about as close to looking like the show you can get while making it in 3-D. Stop complaining about stuff you don't even know about.

I myself prefer "Shinigami". But such trivial issues are more or less just that, trivial, and mostly up to a matter of preference.

HTS1 is only 293MB and HTS2 is only 444MB. That's including the intro movies, sound effects, menus, etc.
There is no way the game has better graphics running on less than half a gig of data compared to the over four gigs the Wii can put on each DVD--Nine Gigs if running on Dual Layer.
Btw, Zaraki Kenpachi and Hollow Ichigo are bad-arse, so you do have taste (even if you spelled 'Kenpachi' wrong). But how could you leave my boys Uryuu Ishida and Kuchiki Byakuya out?
