Blaze Team releases hacked Wii game from Virtual Console |
Listed in: Wii Tags: homebrew community
Ó
Not long ago, word of the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console being hacked has been passed around. This time, Brakken from TehSkeen reports a group called Blaze Team just released a hacked version of Donkey Kong Country 2, a title available via Nintendo's software download service.Brakken points out that the file can be considered a "backup" for Wii owners who already purchased the game, but being in a format which can be passed around would allow it to be shared illegally to those who didn't pay Nintendo.
Reportedly, coder Bushing who managed to run unsigned code on Wii for the first time doesn't approve of the hacked VC title. The reason cited was this development could bring negative attention to the Wii homebrew community.

Regardless of how many people pirate VC games there will ALWAYS be people who want to be legal. The VC will NEVER be "useless".
All these games are already playable for FREE and illegaly at that on many other consoles and the PC. If your BS theories were true then the VC would already be dead.
But as we all know it's NOT. So you are once again wrong as wrong can be.

Let's remember how piracy made the PSP sales explodes a few years ago...
But it's still illegal to do so, so use it at your own risk and if when the new IOS gets in function, don't blame Nintendo if it detects an Unsigned Channel and refuse to boot your Wii Menu

How can what you said be true if it hasn't HAPPENED YET? It's good to know you THINK you're right regardless of FACTS and REALITY!!!
"Of course you didn't bother to prove VC sales are going up, but I'm used to you thinking you're always right."
Look it up yourself! You lazy POS. Regardless of that one part being true or not you can not deny the rest of my post. There is no need to prove this part. The rest of it is REALITY and it proves you wrong as it does so often.
Unless you seriously need me to prove that all these classics already are available via many other sources? You're not that ignorant are you? It wouldn't surprise me but I have to ask all the same.
"The Virtual Console IS useless."
As usual, your words are 100% WRONG. You can go to the VC and buy a game (maybe one you've never played before) then actually play it. That is what we call a "USE". Therefore the VC being useless is a FALSE STATEMENT. Something you give OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.......AGAIN.
"My ROM collection would have cost thousands at Nintendo's ripoff prices"
You mean your ILLEGAL ROM collection? Yes, I'm sure it's expensive. Which means you've gone WELL into the FELONY portion of the law. But that doesn't surprise me, a big POS like yourself would be expected to have such things. This is where you claim you actually own all your ROMs. Don't even go there.
What you fail to mention is that your ROMs can't be played on the Wii in a living room for someone that doesn't have a PC or any other console in their home. Your ignorance leads you to believe that every single person on this planet has EXACTLY what you have. You are, as always, 100% WRONG.
"FREE ROM downloads can be played on many systems."
Here I assume you are referring to public domain ROMs? Well:
1. Those don't cost anyone money. So your entire point here is moot.
2. Those can't be played on the Wii. Aside from what tiny portions are available via the few emulators ported to it.
3. Those can't be bought via the VC so again your point here is moot.
"I can play mine on my PC, PSP, or PS3 using Linux."
BS, very few emulators can be fully played on the PS3. Even linux doesn't have full graphics ability. As for your other consoles, who cares? Not everyone has those. Your point is BS as usual.
"OMG it's illegal! It's stealing! Really, who gives a f*ck?"
You keep asking this question and people keep having to tell you the answer. That only proves your a huge idiot. How many time are you going to prove yourself an idiot before even you realize how pointless your life is?
Here's the answer ONCE AGAIN.... many people care. Many people choose to be legal, many people simply don't have the means or the know-how to do such things. That's why the VC is not useless and you've once again shown everyone how pathetic you truly are.

You're all worse than with TechnoMike at arguing, it really doesn't matter that much...

More proof that everything you say is 100% substantial and never comes with any facts.
"No need to prove this part?"
Did my keyboard stutter?
"So you admit making up BS?"
No where in my post did I say as such. As usual you read "a" but think "b".
"You are the biggest joke on this site and have no credibility."
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!! !!!! That's why I'm highly rated and you have close to ZERO rating. Whatever helps you sleep at night little boy.
"There's homebrew on the Wii now, it can be played on the Wii in a living room."
No you idiot, less then a handful of emulators are available. I even said that, LEARN TO READ!!!!
"You do visit here often, don't you? Like you would say, you cannot deny FACTS."
Yeah, read above numbskull!
"The virtual console may not be useless if one of the following applies."
There is no MAY about it. I've already proven you an idiot for the 927th time! Nothing in your "points" negates anything I said in my previous post. This is just you going around what was said to you and trying to repeat yourself. YOU FAIL!
"Oh noes! I'm a felon! For downloading roms! HA HA HA HA! It doesn't matter if I buy......"
As usual you COMPLETELY missed the point. No wonder you remain to be one of the most ignorant people I've ever come across.
"Oh yes, I have common sense, you do not."
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! !! !!!!!!!!
