Best of Sega Genesis, Turbo Grafx 16 and Hudson Games coming to Revolution

In Nintendo's keynote address at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose today, Satoru Iwata confirmed that a selection of the best games from the Sega Genesis (Sega Megadrive for those outside the USA), Turbo Grafx and Hudson Games will be made available via the Nintendo Revolution download service. The games will be available as a paid for download. Yes gamers, that means Sonic will no doubt be making an appearance on the Revolution, though no titles have been confirmed.

The Sega Genesis had some fantastic games released for it, so this news will no doubt make many gamers grin with glee. Hopefully Speedball 2 and Ecco the Dolphin will be amongst the 'selection'.
