Best Buy maze for PS3 and Wii launch?

And here's another leaked, unconfirmed Best Buy strat info for the PS3 and Wii launch. This time, it's not about how the employees are to serve the customers, but rather, it's how the customers are gonna go about the store itself. It's a maze, indeed. But one that appears to be fairly accommodating--in paper, at least.

The first map here would be for the PS3 customers. From what you can see, they have optimally positioned throughout the store the particular stalls that the PS3 fan would most likely need to enjoy his purchase. Pretty much, the Wii map also offers the same style of route to patrons, only that they'd be holding a different console upon exit.

So. quickly, this is how it goes. Upon entering and finally reaching the start of the line, you will be welcomed by the Software table, the Accessories table, and the Services table. On step number 6, you'll finally have in your hands the sweet console you've been waiting for--for real. Of course, how could them entrepreneurs forget about the cashier? So, yeah, it's there, and you most definitely have to pay for everything. And there you go. One happy customer off to face the world.

However, these aren't confirmed. Then again, it's better to be prepared, right? Click on the thumbnails to get a bigger view of the maps.

They did the same thing for the PSP launch. They let everyone in one at a time, led them to a table with games and accessories and stuff, then gave you a ticket for the console, then had you pay and got you the system after you paid so that is the only differences from what i see in the diagram. however the psp is small and easy to carry so it wouldnt be ahrd for employees to carry it aorund from the back to the front. The PS3 however is bulky so it makes more sense that customers would pick it up right before they paid for it.

How about go from 6 to 8 and skip 7? There is a big open space.

I am planning to do that, although Ill have to work out and run laps every day until Nov. 19 so I can out run the security guards and make it out alive. Hopefully in the end I won't get caught and get sent to jail next to some guy named Bubba.
