I saw in the august print of 'tips and tricks' magazine that beautiful katamari is scheduled to come out for ps3, 360, and the wii. The magazine is pretty big and usually doesn't print unreliable information. Is this just a rumor? or is Famitsu just more up-to-date than most other magazines on this game?

Thats kinda sad. But I love this game and I have a Wii as well. Also Tips and Tricks simply prints what they hear from other sources not their own news.

It doesn't matter if you think the game sucks or not, the fact of the matter is it is powerful software that many people like and if it isn't coming out on the PS3 then that will ultimately hurt it. Personally, I think the game would be best for the PS3 and Wii because of the controls.

Actually yes, they could've done things on sixaxis you can't on others. Hence why it would've been awesome

The fact is the 360 is easier to program for and a lot of developers are worried about the ps3 right now because of the risk involved. Honestly I wish it was on both systems because I don't really care about exclusives but I don't blame them.

I am outraged. Apparently the platform that brought cult success and popularity isn't good enough for namco bandai anymore? This is downright ridiculous. Sure I have a wii, but my PS3 has sorely been waiting for katamari and a few other titles, and now no? I usually don't like to be too sore about these things, but this is where I draw the line. If its true, the only option I have left is to say goodbye to namco titles. Honestly, this is heart wrenching.

ok so this so called confirmation of this rumer is pretty hard to find qjs link is retarded and i just searched the famitsu website and couldnt find it all i have to say is link it if anyone knows the link to this post it the reports claim that it was revealed today yet also claim its a "scan" wich makes me think its printed but that doesnt add up either because of famitsu printing schedule so im not gonna freak about this till i see something from namco themselves

lol this is no more confirmed then the other rumors. its based of of some vauge info from the famitsu weekly flyer type printing not the mounthly mag from what i can tell there is no confirmation period of anything just the same rumors that have been floting around not confirmed to be cancelled for the ps3 not confirmed to be coming to the wii total hype article

The reason its coming to the Xbox360 is because its got so much support. Which would you do? Make a game on a hard to develope, less supported console, or make a game on a friendly, well supported console with a lot going for it. oh well sucks to have made the wrong decision.

I sure hope this is bogus. Why can't companies win by making quality products instead of bribery and spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt? I don't like Sony's attitude but I hate the Xbox 360 hardware--it is not backwards compatible with Elder Scrolls III for Xbox--a game that I play the most on my old Xbox.

just a bit more for anyone else besides me who cares from what ive gathered heres my prediction xbox versin at or around the stated release date in japan only because it is the easyest one to make for lack of motion control basicly a port of the older games. a ps3 version to be released later around the time the 360 version hits the states id bet cause the whole motion control is boging down development as for the wii i have yet to find any info at all that they are going to make a version for the wii but i wouldnt be suprised if it comes out cause of the number of systems in japan and the popularity of this series there but also much later cause of the same motion control problems
