The game is actually a port of an old school Linux game designed by Michael Speck, which simulates some nice particle effects when blasting the various objects littered across the screen. The main objective is to blow away as many targets as possible within the three minute time limit.

Barrage for the Wii is a pretty faithful port of the original title, since the developer mentioned that game was directly compiled off the original source, with a few modifications made to the SDL library. However, the homebrew release lacks the middle mouse button firing function as well as any sounds.
