Bargain alert: ASDA's price cut line up

Resident gamers in the UK may want to take heed, as supermarket chain ASDA announced a series of bargains that may interest them. The franchise' online store has recently gone on a (price) slasher binge, which will allow visitors to purchase games for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii consoles for up to less than Â£ 20. Here are a couple of samples:

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Â£ 15.97 (US$ 31.6)

Genji: Days Of The Blade - Â£ 31.97 (US$ 63.3)

These are just samplers of the rest of ASDA online's line up - interested shoppers are invited to click on the read link to see the full list. On a related note, MCV UK indicates that these discounts are the chain's efforts to stay ahead of its supermarket rivals. It will also be noted that ASDA is a subsidiary of America's Wal-Mart chain.
