The ASDA logo - Image 1Resident gamers in the UK may want to take heed, as supermarket chain ASDA announced a series of bargains that may interest them. The franchise' online store has recently gone on a (price) slasher binge, which will allow visitors to purchase games for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii consoles for up to less than Ã‚£ 20. Here are a couple of samples:
  • Xbox 360:
    • Prey - £ 12.97 (US$ 25.6)
    • Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires - £ 13.97 (US$ 27.6)
    • Splinter Cell: Double Agent - £ 15.97 (US$ 31.6)
    • Ninety-Nine Nights - £ 16.97 (US$ 33.6)
  • PlayStation 3:
    • Sonic The Hedgehog - £ 30.97 (US$ 61.3)
    • Genji: Days Of The Blade - £ 31.97 (US$ 63.3)
    • World Snooker Championship 2007 - £ 30.97 (US$ 61.3)
    • Resistance: Fall Of Man - £ 32.97 (US$ 65.2)
  • Wii:
    • Rampage - Total Destruction - £ 14.97 (US$ 29.6)
    • Spider-Man 3 - £ 29.97 (US$ 59.3)
These are just samplers of the rest of ASDA online's line up - interested shoppers are invited to click on the read link to see the full list. On a related note, MCV UK indicates that these discounts are the chain's efforts to stay ahead of its supermarket rivals.
