Average age of Wii owners is 29, says Fils-Aime |

Contrary to popular belief, according to the man of kicking ass and taking names, the average age of Nintendo Wii owners is not below 13 or above 60. In a conference call, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said Wii owners are still mostly core gamers. After revealing what makes up the Wii audience, Fils-Aime went on to state that the console's software attach rates top the Sony PlayStation 2 which recently broke 120 million in units sold. In other words, Nintendo Wii users actually have more than Wii Sports and a couple of minigame collections in their libraries.
Nintendo's platforms always seem to be dominated by first-party titles, but Fils-Aime is confident in third-parties. "Any system will have a range of quality," he said, and added that developers are "working hard" to get the best out of the Wii.
When talking about taking the Wii online, Fils-Aime clarified, "We do not anticipate making online playable VC games." However, he ensured the Wii can at least support voice chat. "It's just an issue of deciding on a peripheral," he explained.

I don't even think you truly believe what you say most of the time. You just talk for the sake of beating Nintendo down, and whatever complaint someone may have you'll use it to do just that. If people had such a "standard" for such a thing, why the hell does the Wii's Vitual Console work? You could look upon those games as "graphically inferior" by some games today. Just because their different on specifics doesn't mean they're less enjoyable or bad.

Out of the Wii titles you listed there are some that "I" consider horrible, and others that "I" consider pretty good. And out of the PS3 titles that you named there are some that "I" consider horrible, and others that "I" consider good. You seriously need to remember this!
I for one think that Heavenly Sword and Drake's Fortune are EXTREMELY overrated. Does that mean that they are not good games? Course not. But again, this doesn't really matter, because you have no intentions of comming up with a convincing argument, but you would rather use this post as an outlet for some other means. And what is this mysterious means? Who knows, it could be purely sexual....

How about horrible games on the PS3 like Sonic the Hedgehog, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Lair, Bladestorm: the Hundred Years War, Kane + Lynch: Dead Men, Time Crisis 4, Jericho, Beowulf, WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008, Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, and MANY more to go against your belief that the PS3 is one of "great games".
There are still games for the Wii to look forward to as well. I'm excited about getting Super Smash Bros Brawl, One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, Mario Kart Wii, No More Heroes, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, and more.

That's totally cool! I feel the same way about the PS3, but it doesn't matter because you like it! Just because "you" don't like something doesn't mean that it is "crappy", "lame", "gay" etc...it just means that it's not your thing. If we all liked the same stuff, think about how borring gaming would be.
" I don't think the games fit my age group at all."
If you are in the 25-30 age group, just remember that you are not speaking for the entire group. But again, the Wii is not your thing (which is cool), but this doesn't mean that it doesn't apply to others....
