Aussie EB Games Wii pre-order deal |
Ó
It seems that Australian retail shops are prepping up for the coming of the Wii on December 7. Vooks over at vooks.net has compiled a listing of Aussie shops offering some of the best pre-order deals and bundles. All you have to do is to go through the list and decide which store gives you the sweetest Wii deal.Joining the list is EB Games. Vooks said that the store previously offered a pre-order deal, but it wasn't as good as the new one. Those who are seriously considering trading their old consoles for a Wii, might just find EB's offer something they can't refuse.
You can get a Wii for AU$ 199 if you trade your GameCube plus 19 GameCube, Xbox, or PS2 Games. If you're just about ready to give up your PS2 or Xbox plus 12 GameCube, PS2 or Xbox games, then you can get your shiny new Wii at the same price mentioned above.
What's more, if you pre-order from EB Games, you get a VIP card which entitles you to a AU$ 30 discount on a new game each month. As an added sweetener, The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess will be the first game offered on the VIP program. However, Vooks noted that "If this VIP card is similar to other programs in the past, it will require you to forfeit the old game if you want a new game for off RRP." It means you must return the Zelda game if you want to buy, say, Red Steel for AU$ 30 less.
Of course, our Aussie friends can opt for an even better Wii pre-order deal if and when other stores start getting into the Wii pre-order frenzy.

yeah true tat furn, eb sucks ass. i love the one that says: trade in your ps2 and 25 ps2 games and pay ONLY $600 for a ps3. so basically trade in 1000's of dollars worth of games and save a couple hundred bucks, yep real good.
I'm still tossing up wether to pre-order from toys r us or myer though because they bother offer good deals.
The major Video Game Franchise is a huge rip off. Giving you less than $10 a game for trade in. Most of the time only $8 a game!
Those deals mentioned above are a huge rip off. If anyone lives in Melbourne, go to Games Mania!
THey give you $15 a game trade in which is sometimes double major franchises.
Games Mania is in Eastland Ringwood.
Good Deals.
