At long last: Activision breaks silence on Guitar Hero: Van Halen, confirms |
Ó
It's been a long time coming, but finally we have it. The confirmation of Guitar Hero: Van Halen was finally made by Activision. See, it wasn't that hard, right? After months of speculations and inside source tips, we now have the real deal.
Talking to Joystiq, the publisher confirmed that the Van Halen installment of the franchise is currently under development and will see a rockin' good time later this year. While they did not reveal any particular songs yet, they did say that the rocker's "Greatest Hits" will be included.
It's bound to be an all-star cast too as it is also revealed that there will be guest acts from the likes of Queen (all hail Freddie Mercury!), Weezer, Blink 182, The Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age and more.
Expect more details to roll out at E3.
