Assist Tropies galore: Waluigi, Stafy join Super Smash Bros. Brawl |

It may not seem possible, but Nintendo is determined to cram just about every possible character its ever made into the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Today's week-ending update features the addition of two new Assist Trophy characters: Stafy and Waluigi.
While Stafy may seem like one of the celestial bodies found in the Super Mario universe, he's actually the main character in a Japanese-exclusive game for the GameBoy Color called Densetsu no Stafy.
So those of you who think getting him grants your character invulnerability can shelf those ideas. Anyway, what makes Stafy unique is the fact that he's an Assist character that you can actually attack. But be careful, though. While he may look cute, he doesn't like it when you mess around with him.
Of course, who wouldn't recognize the other anti-hero of the Super Mario series. Waluigi is still his "evil" old self as he dashes through the screen and spreads the love around with his tennis racket. It's just too bad Mario doesn't seem to have Luigi to take the flak from his evil anti-thesis.
Well, that's it for this week's updates for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. While everyone waits for the February 10 North American release of the game on the Nintendo Wii console, why not enjoy the rest of the screenshots we have from the game.
