Mii sculpture - Image 1The Wii avatar feature, better known as Mii, has become more than a sideline entertainment for users. We do not know if Nintendo knew it would be this big but it sure is more than a fad. Truth be told, it's a craze and probably one of the best features this console has alongside the Wiimote and the growing library of games.

Now enters Mr. Paul Thiel. In case you are not quite familiar with the guy, he is actually one of the emerging sculptors and illustrators of today's generation. Anyway, Thiel is offering to recreate your Miis and turn them into 6-inch sculptures.

According to him, this idea picked up after he made one for his friend Allison McCarthy. While the pricing has not been officially fixed yet, Thiel promises to make them as affordable as possible to everyone with a Mii. Interested parties can send in their request to Thiel and McCarthy's email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Well, it looks like that Mii merchandise is really on the rise now. Remember Mii on a Tee and custom Mii buttons? We wonder what new other products will emerge because of this. Uh, a Mii chocolate bar perhaps?
