Hairy Wiimote - Image 1Looks like users have learned from the numerous "Wiinjuries" and broken TVs 'coz we haven't been hearing any news on further Wiimote-related incidents lately. While we know that some of those injuries are serious and not to be laughed at, we gotta admit we kinda miss hearing about the less grave ones that are just plain funny (or is it just me?).

So before all the "wtf? this isn't news!" comments start flooding our site, we're gonna wave the white flag and say that even though this isn't news (yes, we are aware of that, hence the off-topic tag), we decided to share this with you guys. Y'know, for old times' sake.

Anyhoo, today's Wiimote injury (if you can even call it that) involves an IGN forum poster by the name of WishingTikal who has accidentally ripped off a chunk of her hair while playing Sonic and the Secret Rings. According to WishingTikal, this happened while she was trying to pull off an attack wherein you'd have to give the Wiimote a good push when a chunk of her hair got stuck in the wrist strap just in time when she pushed the Wiimote forward. Tsk tsk tsk.

And as you can probably see from the image, that's quite a lot of hair there fellas. Add to that the fact that WishingTikal dons long locks, well, we can't imagine how much that must've hurt. Our hearts bleed for you WishingTikal. But hey, if you wanna make money off of that hairchunk, send us a word on pricing and we'll see what we can do. Hahaha.

First off, if this was a guy I'm sure that he will soon be cutting his hair. Second, OUCH!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! GAHH!! That looks so unbelievably painful.

yes that's right, my rasta friend hurted himself badly with the controller while playing.

Some dreadlocks got involved into accident.

He decided not to sue fearing piss testing and stuff... which could explain why the hair got cut off.

» WTF?

How the hell did this happen....really....Think about it.....how did her hair get "tangled" up in the Wii-mote...Its NOT totally impossible, apperantly...But still...How the hell did she manage to do this? This is mind boggling.....It seems that by now SOMEone would have figured out someway to keep low on the injuries...And when all is silent about the injuries...Here is this. A girl tears a lock of hair out of her head. Genius..Truely Genius. (not)

have both a sister and a girlfriend who have extremely long hair who use the wiimote viciously, this story is very funny, and I really don’t understand how people can be stupid enough to do these kind of things, especially breaking t.v’s and windows, come on people, it doesn’t take a genius to actually hold onto the wiimote while playing games. If people throw them and break something, then it’s their own fault, regardless of weak straps, just hold onto them!!!!. This actually reminds me of the Xbox boy video…’controll er at the screen’…

Oh and I can safely say that I’ve tested my straps fully in front of our 50” HDTV and there is nothing wrong with them :)

Psh , you can't sue companys for human stupidity, your "friend" wouldn't have got anywhere.

» Wtf.

My Wiimote doesn't get anywhere NEAR my head while I'm playing Sonic, not even in the crappy minigames. :/

» I don't know

I think it takes a lot more force to rip out a chunk of hair than playing a game...probably someone who needs attention.

Oh I see sskuy, you must be trying to be ironic by calling this person dumb and retarded, whilst at the same time spelling the word "what" as "wut", and using "there" in place of "their".

How clever of you.
