Another Sonic-in-Brawl sighting |

The picture above was sent in by one of Kotaku's readers. Apparently it's an ad from Best Buy Canada. When you really think about it, Sonic being in Brawl is not entirely impossible especially now that Sega and Nintendo are both working on a video game title featuring Sonic and Mario together.

I think he's coming (i realllllllllllly hope he's in it) Mario vs Sonic. If Ash (from pokemon) is able to be in it, sure as H*ll sonic is going to be. I mean com' on! BRAWL ON
You can always tell when something is an unofficial fake: using renders of character from previous games as if they are from the new game in question. That render of Sonic is from a previous game, and the render of Samus is from Metroid Prime 3. Additionally, how often is it that store circulars have mistakes or flat out misinformation? It certainly wouldn't be the 1st or 10th time I've seen it.

what can sonic do? how can you fight? do you like jump on other people to attack them like in the game when you fight the boss. his speed would suck in this game because he would go off the cliff and die

Everyone is focusing on sonic in this thing. If it is real (which i kinda doubt) u can clearly see pichu to the right of wario's head...w00t!
The picture in the background is taken from the ads for Melee, so I not sure how real it is. On the other hand, Sonic has been seen in many ads for Brawl in many different stores. I guess we will find out on December 3!
But I really wish it isn't. I'd love to see Sonic in SSBB, Nintendo would be stupid not to put him in because of such high demand. After all, they are starring in a game together already! But yeah, that's official art from Sonic Heroes, so unless I see new official art of Sonic, then I think it's fake.

After Mario and Sonic Olympics was announced, that pretty much confirmed Sonic in SSBB. How you ask? Well, ever since snake was confirmed there had been an increase of interest in having Sonic in the game. Sega even went on record saying they would love for it to happen. Although there was no yes or confirmation, there has been absolutely no comments suggesting he is not. Oh, and by the way Hymns .... Pikachu was a shoe in, seeing as he is a veteran of the SB series.
As long as Dark Samus and Ridley make it (if they do) I'll be satisfied, but Sonic....really...really dont care.. But hey its possible!
down b could be that move where he turns into the ball and spins. sort of like jiggly puff. Sonic would be able to fight though. I never liked him anyway. After he left 2D he sucked.
